Lawrence Makhekhe Foundation is Driven :by Empathy
Martin Mpotu, spokesperson for the Lawrence Makhekhe Foundation, spoke about the organization’s mission. Established in 2011, the foundation was driven by Mphothu’s own experience of poverty and hunger.
Lawrence Makhekhe’s philosophy, as shared by Mpotu, is one of empathetic giving: “He does not give because he has, but only because he knows the pain of needing.”
The foundation extends its support to underprivileged children by providing school uniforms and shoes.
