A new era of service delivery and intergovernmental cooperation is underway in Gauteng. This morning, Emfuleni Executive Mayor, Councillor Sipho Radebe, alongside MMC for Finance and Revenue Councillor Hassan Mako, MMCs Ndade Mokoena and Tumi Mochawe, welcomed key dignitaries and stakeholders at the Saul Tsotetsi Sports Complex. The event marked the official launch of Integrated Law Enforcement, a province-wide initiative to strengthen the enforcement of municipal by-laws and enhance public safety. Gauteng Premier is also expected to attend as the plan rolls out under a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed by all municipalities across the province. Speaking at the event VUT FM NEWS says, local leaders emphasized the importance of collaboration and unified governance, with Emfuleni Local Municipality taking the lead in implementing this transformative agenda. In addition to law enforcement, the Integrated Service Delivery Programme was launched—focusing on improving key municipal services such as waste collection, road repairs, electricity, water, and sanitation. This approach aims to make service delivery more responsive and community focused. Today’s event signifies a major step forward in restoring public trust and ensuring that government works efficiently for the people of Gauteng.
